Why would I hide my awareness

When to consciousness I have been called?

My immortal soul is eager

To circle its mighty source

Singing and dancing forever

Holiness protection and glory

All else is here begotten

Here will all else return

O my spirit, O my soul

Unfurl all your wings and fly

Round that resplendent goal

In that unseen heavenly sky

Look not back at the dirt and grime

Forget all the things that are left behind

Live in places outside time

Above the heart, above the mind

Places only you can go

Places no one else may kno

The soul is aware of so many things

That the heart could never bear

Just as the heart knows many things

Of which the mind is unaware

The soul’s awareness stands alone

So it must find a need

It will shed its bounty

On a germinating seed

In this way it knows itself

Awareness is replete

When its sign is manifest

Its destiny is complete

O our All-Glorious Lord

Increase our faith

That we may guide the wayward

Enrich the poor

Ennoble the lowly

And heal the sick

Through Thy Power and Blessings

Make us heralds of the kingdom

Seas of bounty

Guiding stars on the horizon

Let us stand as the pillars stood

Face what the martyrs faced

Make us aware

Give us a victory

A length of days

Means nothing to the martyr

Though it be cherished by the wise

The thirst for knowledge is quenched

By a single point of truth

When love and fear are merged

Transcendence alone endures

Inner and outer, first and last

United finally in this
